The construction of the pipeline at Standing Rock Indian Reservation in North Dakota threatens their environment and water supply, and threatens to disturb Native American burial sites, prayer sites, and artifacts. While some view it as a highway of gold, it carries the potential to do incredible, irreversible damage.
